First heat the oven at 180 degrees for 15 minutes.
Place a walnut quarter inside each date instead of the core. Then arrange the dates next to each other in a fireproof container (Pyrex). Note that there is nothing wrong with arranging several rows of dates on top of each other.
Mix an egg and milk together and then pour it on the dates and fill the empty spaces between the dates with chopped walnuts to get a uniform surface.
Place the date container in the middle of the oven for 10 minutes and then take it out of the oven again.
Beat the second egg first with a fork and then pour it on the dates. Place the dates in the oven again to cook for another 5 minutes at the same temperature.
After removing the date Kisava dish from the oven, pour the melted butter on the water and decorate it with pistachios and cinnamon powder.
